
We invite you to take part in the Industrial Technology Forum “Regional Ecological Monitoring and Industrial Ecology”, which will be held on March 25, 2026 at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Center as part of the Big City Ecology Forum. The event will bring together leading experts, representatives of federal and regional government agencies, and key players in the environmental technology market.
Organizers: Association for the Development of Environmental Monitoring (ADEM), ExpoForum International.
Event Objectives:
- Discuss the implementation of modern standards and certification in the field of industrial ecology and monitoring.
- Demonstrate practical solutions for the creation and operation of territorial environmental monitoring systems.
- Consider innovative approaches to organizing local environmental monitoring at industrial facilities and monitoring the state of water resources.

The forum program will open with a panel session“Standardization and Certification in Industrial Ecology.” The moderator will be Yulia Filatkina, General Director of the ANO “Center for Environmental Reforms,” Head of the Department of “Environmental Management and Sustainable Development” at the Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Rosstandart, Member of the Board of the Association of Environmental Management Systems (AREM), Deputy Chairman of the Project Technical Committee “Territorial Observation Systems” (PTC 716) of Rosstandart;
Session participants will discuss the role of metrology and new standards in ensuring the reliability of environmental data.
Representatives of the following are invited to participate in the Forum:
- Federal and regional environmental agencies (Rosprirodnadzor, State Environmental Supervision Committee Leningrad Region)
- Research institutes and standardization centers (FSUE “VNIM named after D.I. Mendeleyev”, Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification)
- Industrial enterprises and developers of equipment for environmental monitoring
- Professional associations and expert organizations
The practical part of the Forum is divided into three thematic blocks:
Practical session No. 1: “Territorial Environmental Monitoring Systems” is a session dedicated to regional experiences in creating air monitoring networks and implementing automated control systems.
Practical Session No. 2: “Industrial Ecology and Local Environmental Monitoring Systems for Industrial Facilities” — presentations on the best available technologies and case studies of monitoring systems implementation in production facilities. Representatives of the Scientific and Technical Center “Environment” of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VNIIM” will share their experience. Mendeleyev, the Center for Environmental Monitoring of the Chelyabinsk Region, PJSC MTS, and IMC Group LLC.
Practical Session No. 3: “Eco-Monitoring of Surface Water, Industrial Discharges, and Effluents” — the final session will be devoted to modern methods of water quality analysis and monitoring of water user activities.
Participation in the forum will allow specialists not only to become familiar with cutting-edge developments but also to directly discuss professional challenges with colleagues and regulators, as well as establish partnerships for the implementation of environmental innovations.
